Your player is registered for the 2022 TC Youth Football season! Participation in TC Youth Football has increased significantly each of the past three seasons. This season, we had to close registration early due to reaching our max enrollment (equipment capacity). We have a large number of players on a waiting list.

Below are some details on what will happen next for your player:

  • Download & install the SportsEngine  app, then LOG IN to the app using the same credentials from this registration. If you are not logged in, or have logged in as a 'fan' you will not receive team communications. You can add other parents/guardians/contacts to your player so they can log into the app. Open your ACCOUNT (or ACCOUNT SETTINGS), then HOUSEHOLD, select your PLAYERS NAME, and then ADD GUARDIAN.

  • Player and Coach team placments will be posted by July 15th via the SportsEngine app. All players registered by July 4th will be placed on the correct team for their Zone/School (Glads, Titans, Trojans) whenever possible. Balancing skill and number of players per team will take priority over friend/coach requests. This year, we are planning on the following number of teams at each level: 1 Trojan pee wee, 2 Trojan JV (Juniors), 1 Gladiators pee wee, 2 Gladiators JV, 2 Titans pee wee, 3 Titans JV.

  • 3rd/4th Grade Pee Wee players will be placed on teams with other players from their elementary school (Glads, Titans, Trojans) whenever possible.

  • 5th/6th Grade Juniors players will be placed on Glads, Titans or Trojans teams based on the school they attend and their residence address.

  • Have your submitted your 2022 Physical yet? Every player must have a physical completed in the year 2022 (preferably after April 15th) and documented on the 2022 Physical and Medical History Form PW. Physical forms not uploaded during registration must be received prior to August 15th, 2022 (but the sooner the better!). You can submit a physical after registration by e-mailing to  traversecityyouthfootball@gmail.com (include the players name), or log into  https://www.sportsengine.com/ (on a computer), sign in, select 'registrations' and you can edit your registration info and upload the forms.

  • Purchase a mouth guard that straps to a face mask

  • Find appropriate football cleats for the 2022 season (we will post an informal cleat exchange in mid-July at: https://www.facebook.com/TraverseCityYouthFootball )

  • If you determine your child will not be able to play this season, please contact ASAP so we can add the next player from the waiting list.

  • TCYFA provides each player the use of approximately $400+ of up to date equipment for the season (helmet, chin strap, shoulder pads, practice pants and uniforms). Each player is required to attend a mandatory equipment fitting in August to ensure the proper fitting (dates for each team are TBD). TCYFA has also purchased $1,000s of safe tackling and drill equipment for practices as well.
